Topic: Alumni Clambake Ideas

This summer will mark the first year the EBA has made an effort to have an Alumni Clambake. This should be a fun event for Theta Chi alumni, actives, and their families. This could turn out to be a really fun yearly alumni event. What kinds of activities would you personally like to see at the clambake? When do you think we should have it? Do you know of any great places to host the event? We will be planning definites later in the summer and will announce the final plan via email. Your input is most appreciated.

I think we should have lots of clams. It only makes sense.

The Original Clam Bake was held in Kingston Mass in 1979.
We had about 60 brothers, three large copper kettles with lobsters, clams,
sausage, corn, seaweed, hotdogs, and I think 2 kegs of beer. We played volley
ball, golf frizbee around a cranberry bog, and Brian Dumont even went "swiming"
in the pond as I remember.

Let's not forget the "Ponding of Walter" at this event. It was truly a time to
remember. Many pictures from the Clambake appeared in several later Rush books.
