Old Business

 

Neither Jeremy nor Jon were at the meeting
    1. Panel repair. Panels are starting to pop out. Exterior should be stained.
    2. Schedule for work to be done.

 

    1. Lawn rolling and reseeding. The backyard needs to be cleaned up. The Salisbury Street side can wait until the Spring
    2. Fence. Should be completed by now. Jeremy will contact the fence company.

 

    1. Status on fixture replacement/repair. Will investigate with Garibidian
    2. Status on wallboard project for second floor drying area. The wallboard should be removed and replaced. The EBA will pay for this.
    3. Discussion on full shower replacement. List of project tasks, etc. This should be completed by next summer.

 

No new info

    1. Complete research on roofing solutions for our type roof.
    2. Educate EBA on choices.

Action Items:
    1. Start putting together a project proposal for prospective bidders.
    2. Review such proposal with the EBA.

 

    1. Present next draft to EBA. Mike Griffiths has taken over the completion of the Details Manual.
    2. Schedule target date for completion.

 

    1. Status of additional bids. No progress yet. This will be completed by Initiation
    2. Contract Schedule.

  

    1. Current status. $11,500 has been collected since Sept 1, 1998. $14,000 is still outstanding. Interest is being charge to alumni who do not make an effort to pay their debt.
    2. Review of older alumni debt records.

 

    1. Implementation Plan? No progress as of yet.
    2. Stewart Howe records update.
    3. Clothing bulk purchase? Look on WWW (Campus Classics, etc.)
    4. Who is going to be responsible for shipping alumni their stuff?

 

    1. Date? Between EBA Weekend and Golf Tournament. No progess
    2. Site requirements? Grills, tables, horseshoes, bocce, frisbee, softball?
    3. Area? Let?s decide the best general area for the best turnout.
    4. Goal: Have a list of places that meet the above requirements by the next meeting. We need to decide on a definite place to advertise in the Jan. Echo.

 

 

    1. Status on collection effort of all official documents. List? So far have received copy of deed, liability insurance, property insurance, lodging license
    2. Safety deposit box rental for storage. Fleet Bank on Goldstar Blvd has boxes. Necessary officers need to go on a Saturday
    3. Copy originals for our use.

 

New Business

 
    1. WPI deferred recruitment research project. A project (IQP?) should be created which investigates the pros/cons of deferred recruitment
    2. Greek Alumni Advisors
    3. Tax deductible building fund for Greek Chapters. What happened to 1989 effort?

 

    1. How are things going? Rush calenders are out. Dec 3 is Bid Night.
    2. How are other chapters on campus doing? KAP and AXP are being investigated for wet rush.
